If your hardware does not have AP mode, then I suggest trying to uninstall the Control Center altogether, but leave the drivers installed & see if you can use it with the Windows wireless software. The 5Ghz network was set to choose automatically the channel, one day it changed to a channel with an high number and my card wasnt able to find the network anymore.
